Join the New Jersey History Listserv

Click here to join NJ History. This link will take you to the homepage of the listserv.

Once there, click on the menu choice “Join or leave the list (or change settings)” and you will be prompted on how to add your email address to the list of subscribers.

What’s a listserv? It’s a computerized bulletin board, discussion group, daily newspaper, and town meeting rolled into one. The subject of this particular listserv is everything and anything concerned with the study of New Jersey history. Among the topics covered are upcoming events, funding sources, archeology, genealogy, museums, historic sites, local history organizations, and historic preservation.

NJ History is open to anyone with an interest in the subject -- teachers, students, archivists, museum staff, archeologists, reenactors, researchers, collectors, historical society members, volunteers, preservationists, and just plain history buffs.

Subscription is free, and all that is required is an email address. Once you subscribe you will automatically receive messages from the listserv through your email. You can treat these messages like any email -- they can be saved, deleted, copied, printed out, or forwarded.
