Emlyn Koster, President and CEO of Liberty Science Center
Dr. Koster is at the helm of one of the museum field's
most relevancy-minded institutions. Internationally
experienced and dedicated to improving the links between
science and society, he is a prominent writer and speaker
about the external responsibilities of science museums as
well as an active contributor to the field. Trained as a
geologist and previously at the helm of a natural history
museum and of a science center in Canada, Dr. Koster sees
museums as a vital helping hand to a brighter future
in social and environmental terms. Both Liberty Science
Center's mission and his outside professional activities are
aligned with this philosophy.
